The Delicious Chicken Jalfrazi!

Chicken Jalfrazi is amongst the famous Chinese dishes that are liked by the Pakistani people. This dish is so famous all over Pakistan that people usually prepare it in their homes and also have it in the restaurants. This saucy chicken full of vegetables is easy to cook with a simple recipe.


  • Boneless chicken one kg.
  • 4 tomatoes chopped.
  • 2 onions, sliced.
  • 4 chopped onions.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste.
  • 1 capsicum sliced.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste.
  • ¼ teaspoon all spices grounded.
  • ½ teaspoon coriander powder.
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.
  • 3 to 4 tablespoon oil.



Fry the chopped onion in heated oil till it turns pink. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, tomatoes, ginger paste andChicken Jalfrazi garlic paste and cook till tomatoes turn soft. After the tomatoes soften add chicken and let it cook for 15 minutes. Once the chicken is done, add salt in it. In another pan in heated oil fry the capsicum and onion slices. Once the vegetables are fired add into the chicken and also add all spices. Leave it on the flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Once everything is done serve the chicken with rice.

This dish requires a total time for preparation as well as cooking is 30 minutes and the quantity suggested in the recipe serves 4 persons. If you wish to serve more people you can adjust the quantity according to your requirements.
