- Five ounce cooking chocolate,
- Half cup fresh cream,
- One and half cup flour,
- Two teaspoons baking powder,
- Two cup butter,
- Six eggs
- Four ounces chocolate,
- Two cups fresh cream,
- One tablespoon cocoa powder
In a bowl add flour, sieved baking powder, butter and eggs and beat well till fluffy and keep aside.
In a pan put chocolate to melt, when the chocolate is melted remove from flame and add the fresh cream in it and mix well.
Grease two baking dishes with oil or butter and pour the batter equally in both the dishes. Keep the dishes in a preheated oven for 40 minutes at 170 degrees.
When done take the baking dish out of the oven and put a toothpick or knife in the cake, if it comes out without any batter stick on it that means your cake is properly cooked.
For icing melt chocolate in a pan and when the chocolate is melted remove pan from flame and add cream and cocoa powder and mix well.
Spread the icing on one cake and sandwich the other one on it and also apply the icing on the top of the sandwiched cake covering it entirely, garnish the cake with grated chocolate and fresh cream. Put the cake in the refrigerator for a few hours and serve chilled.
