This new method of treating dementia uses sound waves. It opens the ‘Blood Brain Barrier’ with the help of ‘Ultrasound Views’. The ‘blood brain barrier’ is a protective layer that protects the brain from infections.

However, Dr Krishna says the barrier also makes it difficult to treat diseases such as Alzheimer’s, which affects the nerves. Dr. Krishna says that by opening the ‘blood brain barrier’ we can access more brain tissues and thus make the treatment more effective.

The trial focused on the parts of the brain that perform memory and recognition with the help of MRI. According to Dr. Krishna, these are the areas where toxic proteins accumulate in Alzheimer’s patients, which are called ‘amyloid’. There is a strong link between high levels of amyloid and memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease. Researchers believe that this method could help the patient’s own immune system eliminate some of this toxic protein, amyloid. In this procedure, this part of the brain is compressed and dilated with the help of ultrasound waves. Dr. Krishna says that this process helps to open the ‘blood brain barrier’ mechanically and during this time the patient remains conscious.

By opening the blood-brain barrier, it is also possible that one day the doctor will be able to deliver the medicine directly to the desired place.

Exercise is a way to prevent Alzheimer’s

Alzheimer’s is the most common type of dementia. According to experts, exercise stimulates brain cells and makes them work faster, which can help eliminate Alzheimer’s disease. New research shows that exercising can improve brain function. According to research, positive changes were noted in older people who made exercise a part of their daily routine. Older people who complained of memory disorders and made exercise a part of their lives also showed signs of improvement.

Experts say that these diseases can have a very negative effect on the elderly. That’s why it’s important for older people to make some small changes in their lives and move in a positive direction.

A study by experts from James Cook University in Australia included 83 elderly people. The elderly people who took part in the study ranged in age from 60 to 88 years. These elderly people were divided into two groups. One group was asked to exercise for 30 minutes a day, while the other group did not exercise. At the end of the program, it was noted that older people who made exercise their routine had better mental abilities than their peers.
